Bringing Hope to the ESSAV Orphanage
It's a good day when you're making a difference in the lives of sweet little ones with something as simple as food provision.
When we founded the Onatti Foundation, focused on supporting orphans and vulnerable children of DR Congo, we knew that one of the benefits of doing this type of work would be meeting others who were doing similar work. We knew we would want to support local organizations that struggled to provide for the orphans under their care in terms of nourishment, schooling, health, and daily needs as part of our outreach program.
After couple visits to ESSAV, we saw just how desperately these children needed better living accommodations as much of the orphanage needed renovation.
We will be starting by putting on new doors and windows, and installing lights and fresh coats of paint. Then will be looking at delivering much needed furniture and supplies to ESSAV. We will be sharing ways people can get involved. Stay tuned for more!
